Year 1 DCs are a unique group just entering the profession and getting started in practice.   As such, the OCA has a special pricing for New Doc's in Oregon that fall into the GAP (Graduate Assistance Program) that allows you to get acquainted with the state association, our legislative efforts in Oregon on your behalf, valuable information on setting up a business in Oregon, what you need to know to treat injured workers in Oregon and the current fee schedules for Workers Comp/PIP and Medicare.  

Student memberships are available at no cost to students that are currently enrolled in a Chiropractic College or University in Oregon or elsewhere in the US.    Student members can access the OCA office staff to answer questions that they may have as they approach their licensing and look to get started in the profession.    The chiropractic college or university name and date of graduation is part of the application process.    There are special programs from time to time that offer some scholarship monies to those student members that are looking to stay in Oregon after graduation to practice.
